Our Story
Smith Street Brewery started with a simple conviction: that great beer doesn't need a factory — it needs patience, good ingredients, and a neighborhood that cares. What began as a weekend passion has grown into a beloved Brooklyn institution, still brewing small batches right here on Smith Street.
Every batch is brewed in small quantities so we can taste, adjust, and perfect before it reaches your glass. No shortcuts. No compromises.
We source hops from Pacific Northwest farms, malt from regional mills, and water that's been filtered through Brooklyn's spirit — clean, honest, and full of character.
This isn't just a brewery — it's a living room for the neighborhood. Regulars know our names, our beers, and the story behind every pour. That's the point.
